The Trust Team

The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, under the leadership of the Board of Trustees, is a state corporation that operates much like a private foundation, providing leadership, advocacy, planning and financial resources to assist behavioral health-related organizations, agencies and other entities in developing programs that serve Trust beneficiaries.

  • Board of Trustees:  The seven-member, governor-appointed Board of Trustees
  • Trust Staff: The team that operates The Trust on a day-to-day basis
  • Trust Land Office: A unit within the Department of Natural Resources that manages Trust land and other non-cash assets.

If you are interested in joining this dynamic team as a member of the Board of Trustees, you must have expertise in services for Trust beneficiaries, financial management and investments, or land management.
